Public Comment
PUBLIC COMMENT – The University of Delaware Board of Trustees and President Assanis have always valued the opinions of the University community and public. In accordance with both Delaware law and longstanding Board policy, members of the public are welcome to attend the semiannual meetings of the Board.
We have found that questions or comments to the Board are best addressed outside of the meeting. UD’s Board has allocated a portion of the agenda (maximum of ten minutes) to public comment at the semiannual business meetings.
Individuals wishing to make public comment are required to complete the online request form at least 72 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. Speakers must submit a request form with his/her name and affiliation to UD at least 72 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting (speakers cannot register at the meeting). An individual speaker will be permitted up to two minutes for a presentation. Speakers will receive an email notification with additional instructions.
